Curve is a team made up of players of all abilities. Beginners are always welcome to our training sessions and pickup.
Curve hosts Introduction to Ultimate Frisbee sessions for players who are new to the sport. We’ll teach you the basic skills and rules and you’ll meet a bunch of lovely people.
Beginners sessions (Introduction to Ultimate Frisbee)
Our beginners training course introduces you to ultimate frisbee and welcomes you into our club:
- Week 1: Taster – get a feel for ultimate
- Week 2: Offense and defence – learn how to mark, and lose your mark
- Week 3: Tactics and strategy – work smarter, play as a team
- Week 4: Putting it all together – graduate and get a disc (frisbee)!
Course length: 4 sessions, each session is 1.5 hours.
Course cost: Week 1 is free. If you want to continue, pay £12 total for the rest of the course and get a frisbee (disc) at the end of week 4.
When?
Every two months. The first Sunday of the month, 15.00 prompt (earlier in the winter).

What to bring?
- Clothes you are happy to run around in
- Water
- Studded boots/cleats if you have them (trainers will do if not)
